passion is to connect people with the living God. Recently recognized
as one of the nation’s leading student pastors, God has blessed Acton
with the ability to reach this high tech, attention-lacking culture of
Generation Next. In addition to leading x|roads, a city-wide student
Bible study 60 miles north of Birmingham, he also hosts x|roads TV,
a worldwide broadcast viewed weekly my millions of teens and adults in
every city in America and every country in the world. Acton also

platform and his unique blend of boldness and humor to communicate the
life-giving message of the gospel to students and young adults. Acton

Church.
Cassidy Robinson is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from
Belleview, FL. She began singing as soon as she could speak, always in the
limelight of family and friends. Cassidy picked up the guitar in high school
and began to write songs about her life and faith in Jesus
Christ. In her junior year, God placed a calling on her life to
inspire others and share His truth through music. In 2005, she recorded her
first original album, Hallelujah. She used the money she raised from CD sales and
concerts to attend The Baptist College of Florida
where she enrolled as a Music major. It was there that she met and fell in love
with Josh Robinson, her best friend and now husband. They were married on June
14, 2008. Josh and Cassidy are presently serving at First
Baptist Church of Ashford, Alabama, where Josh is the student pastor and
Cassidy leads worship and teaches the high school girls small group. She recently finished recording an EP entitled, New Day In Nashville TN. It will be released on April 15th. Her song "New Day" from her new project is playing now.
For more than twelve years, The Birdsongs have defined walking by
faith. After giving away their belongings and selling their home in the
great state of Washington, the Birdsong family bought an RV and began
their journey planting seeds through a faith-based music ministry. With
no plan and little money the family of eight (at the time) prayed
together and agreed “this is something God has laid on our
hearts” as they drove slowly onto the highway. “God always
comes through in a big, big, big, way” proclaims Wendell
Birdsong, the father and guitarist of the remarkably multi-talented
family.
The Birdsongs have entertained at Dollywood theme park in the Great
Smokey Mountains, Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, appeared on
Gospel Music Television (GMT), and heard on numerous radio interviews
and at concerts all over the USA and Canada. Becoming widely known as
one of the most versatile bands today; The Birdsongs incorporate an
extensive range of musical styles including traditional, Pop,
Alternative Rock, Modern Praise and Worship, Southern Gospel,
Bluegrass, as well as original Christian Contemporary compositions. All
music and performances are focused on joyfully Worshiping and Praising
our Lord!
Your Students and adults will fall in love with the music of Birdsong!! Every time they lead they ROCK your socks off, but yet they will lead us to the throne of Grace. They are a blessing on and off the stage!!
